What vaccinations does my dog need to qualify for K9 Canada’s services?

Rabies
Distemper/Parvo Virus
Bordetella
Canine Influenza H3N8
Canine Influenza H3N2
Coronavirus

What is the minimum age for a puppy to be admitted into K9 training?

Once a puppy is aged between 9 and 12 weeks old, you can start to think about introducing him to formal obedience training in a classroom situation. Our minimum age is 3 month because by this age all dogs should have received their standard vaccines.

When my dog is boarding or in daycare, does she/he go on walks outside?

Yes, the majority of their time is spent off leash in our indoor pay area, but they do go on regular walks outside as well.

Will participating in bite club make my dog more aggressive?

No. It does not make your dog more aggressive; nor will it make your dog see you as weak or less dominant if you participate in bite work or let your dog win the tug . If you let your dog believe it is a game, it encourages bonding, mental stimulations and builds confidence.
