Training Information:

Price: 30 min session/$45.00 + HST

  • Necessary items needed for training: strong leash (at least 4 feet long), agitation collar or harness, treats and correction collar (chain or prong).
  • Dogs must be on leash at all times!
  • We suggest not to feed your dog the day of training to encourage increased focus.

 Cancellation policy – 24 hours to cancel. No show – loose half of training fee

Please note:

  • Applicants must arrive at least 5 minutes before their session.
  • Mandatory completion of the K9 waiver and registration forms for new applicants.
  • If your female dog is in heat; please refrain from bringing her to training to eliminate unnecessary distractions.
  • Please turn phones on silent/vibrate and converse at a low and considerate volume.

To ensure our standard of content is maintained; posting videos and pictures of training on personal profiles is not permitted. If you would like content of your dog training, please DM our Instagram or contact our staff and they will be distributed accordingly..

    Training Levels

    Basic Obedience:

    An introductory course for dogs ages 3 months and older. In this class we will focus on  teaching basic manners with impulse control and relationship building exercises. We’ll also focuses on management and redirection techniques for established problem behaviors and introduce the bite tug while encouraging confident bites.

    • Must pass the assessment test with a minimum of 80% to advance to the next course.
    • Successful applicants will receive a certificate of completion.

     

    Intermediate Obedience:

    This course is ideal for dogs who have completed a basic, beginner or puppy class. In this course we help dogs who already know basic cues achieve the same results in situations that add more distance, duration and distractions to previously learned cues. We also do a higher level of tug/bite work training while introducing distractions.

    Advanced Obedience:

    This is an advanced course for Intermediate graduates. It strengthens your dog’s behaviors to provide faster and more consistent responses and helps improve reliability so your dog’s previously learned skills can be used in most environments and with limited training tools. We also focus on more personal protection scenarios with more advanced sleeves in with higher levels of distractions.

    • Must pass the assessment test with a minimum of 80% to advance to the next course.

    To start the courses, new applicants will undergo a free consultation and assessment. The assessment will include a check list of commands. Once the assessment is completed with a percentage mark of 80%, the applicant can advance into the appropriate class.

      Our Trainer

      Phillip has 8 years of dog training experience, more specifically Personal Protection Training. He attended a Controlled Aggression Seminar with world renowned trainer, Jerry Bradshaw;  director & president of Tarheel Canine Training, Inc. in Sanford, North Carolina.

      In addition, Phillip is a proud dog owner, 2 of which are enrolled in PSA. Finally, for the past 2 years he has mentored under a wold renowned trainer in Ontario, Canada.
